What This is

This site is a Petition For Freedom. The freedom I speak about is the freedom to blog. We are building communities and telling truths all over the net. We are being looked down upon because we are holding people accountable. We are about to lose those freedoms. The FEC is considering regulating blogs as political tools, putting them under campaign finance reform. What I want you to do is go to this site and sign a petition against regulations. I will forward the list to every house and senate member and I will also forward the entire list to the FEC. The petition is stating that our freedom is non-negotiable and protected under the United States Constitution. This is how the petition will read:

To the United States Legislative Branch and The Federal Elections Committee,

There has been much talk about web based publishing, that is not connected to the mainstream media, and how it weighs in campaign contributions. The list below contains the signatures, names, date of signature, e-mail addresses and cities of the people whom oppose the idea of the regulation of the Internet in any form, especially when it touches on Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press, and our right to have a conversation, opinion, or view. The Internet is called the world wide web for a reason. It is world wide. The United States Government has no right to govern this any more then say Bolivia. The list below represents our signatures, opposing any regulations or laws concerning the Internet and it's content, and ask you to back down from this matter. Our freedoms are non-negotiable and it is our Constitutional right to be able to speak freely. We hope you respect this great land and it's Constitution enough to see this as a non issue. Thank you for your time.

This is a bi-partisan issue and all are encouraged to participate. Everyone's freedoms are at stake. I will also be contacting the ACLU and asking for their assistance and guidance in this matter.

I am a very big advocate of privacy rights and assure all that your information will be safe. I am not going to sell it or give it away to anyone. If anyone in the blogisphere has any suggestions please e-mail me or leave a comment here. Thank you for your time. Let us show the true power of the people and strike this matter down.
